We are currently ten days away from our deadline to get the yes votes needed to re-instate the covenants, so we can re-open the amenities. As of today, here is the count for the vote.

30- No Votes
31- Have Not Voted

Happy July 4th everyone.

Thanks to the time donated by a few homeowners and board members, the clubhouse is looking great. We are preparing have the pool and clubhouse ready when the covenants get re-instated. Happy Monday, Covington Point.

Thank you to all the homeowners who voted and volunteered over the past week and at the polling station this past Sunday.

Due to everyone's efforts this past week, we made a big step forward in the yes votes needed to re-instate the covenants, so we can re-open the amenities.

We are currently 75% of the way to meeting our goal of 136 votes.

Before starting this campaign, we met with the board's attorney. He told us that there is not true deadline in getting the required votes.

The board decided that if we do not have the 136 votes by 5pm on July 20th, we will start taking the next steps moving forward. Those steps will include dissolving the HOA.

This past Sunday was the last polling station that we will be held to vote for the covenants. If you would like to vote yes to get the covenants re-instated, please contact Ron Dolive at 504-402-7529 or email [email protected]. We will be happy to help you.

This is a reminder that our final polling day to take votes to re-instate the covenants, so we can re-open the pool is this Sunday, 6.29.25, from 2pm -5pm.

If you have already spoken with a board member to get your vote into us before Sunday, we greatly appreciate it.

Good afternoon, Covington Point.

To allow our LSU Tiger fans in Covington Point to sign the petition to re-instate the covenants, we are extending the polling hours tomorrow , 6.22.25, at the clubhouse from 12pm - 5pm.

With the game starting at 1:30pm, that will give you enough time to get home and get ready for the game.

TGIF Covington Point.

It’s the first official day of summer! Whoever came up with that obviously does not live in the south!!!

The clubhouse will be open on Sunday, 6.22.25, from 2 PM to 5 PM to accept signatures to reinstate the covenants, so that we can reopen the amenities, including the pool!!!

Thanks to the donation of a homeowner, hot dogs will be provided from 2pm-5pm or until they run out. Which ever comes first.

If you can’t make it to the clubhouse on Sunday, please contact the board, and we will be happy to come get your signature. You can do that by texting Ron Dolive at 504-402-7529.

In anticipation of re-opening the amenities, we have started to get them cleaned up. Here are a couple of pics of the progress. Pressure washing and re-doing the garden bed in the front are in the near future.
