From planning and promotions to setup, operations, and cleanup, volunteers are the heart of our festivals. Many festival board members serve entirely on a volunteer basis, giving their time and talents to preserve traditions, strengthen communities, and create unforgettable experiences.

We are so appreciative of our St Tammany Sheriff Reserves! 😍

As a way of saying 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 for everything they do to make the parish fair possible every year, St. Tammany Parish Fair President Matt Willie, Vice President Melissa Primes Dottolo and St. Tammany Parish Fair Queen Miss Madison Hogan presented Captain Jeff Brady with a check for the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Reserve Division. These volunteer deputies put in countless hours providing security for the annual fair and this donation will help to purchase supplies/equipment for their division.

Today St Tammany Parish Fair Queen Madison Elizabeth Hogan gets to walk across a different kind of stage than what she normally walks! Today she’ll graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University from the College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics (smart girl!!). She is an alumnus of Alpha Omicron Pi and an Ambassador for the College of Business. She has been accepted into the MBA program in Finance at Louisiana State University.

Congratulations Madison! We look forward to seeing you fulfill all your dreams!

On April 16 Miss St Tammany Parish Fair Queen Madison Hogan attended the 4th annual legislative dinner. She was honored to sit at the table of Steve Scalise,
Majority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives. Held at Beau Chene country club, Madison had the opportunity to meet many local officials, state senators & congressmen while representing our St Tammany Parish Fair.

St Tammany Parish Fair Association members along with Miss Queen Madison Hogan attended the Tangipahoa Parish Fair Bubbly & Bingo in support of our neighboring fair. Although none of them got to yell “Bingo!”, a great time was still had by all!

Happy Birthday to St Tammany Parish Fair Association President Matt Willie! Besides acting as our President, Matt is Chairman of our Grounds/Security, Rodeo Committee and sits on several other committees as well.
During the fair, he is constantly running around the grounds, putting out fires. Matt was also recognized as Volunteer of the Year for STPF during the LAFF convention.

Another Happy Birthday today to St Tammany Parish Fair Board Member Arleen Bennett! Arleen is Chairman of our Floral Committee and Hospitality Committee. During set up days of the fair she can be found in our Horticulture Building. Arleen makes sure that our food menus are set for both our Premiere Party and our Opening Ceremony. She was recognized last year by having the 2025 fair dedicated to her.

Highlighting one of our St Tammany Parish Fair volunteers…Congratulations to Lauren Dixon who graduates today from University of South Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Philosophy and Medicine. Lauren is the daughter of Julie Dixon of Madisonville.

Her future plans are to continue pursuing a Master’s in Public Health Administration from University of South Alabama and then plans to attend medical school.

Congratulations on your graduation, Lauren! The fair association wishes you the best!

On April 12th Miss St Tammany Parish Fair Queen Madison Hogan attended the Scott Boudin Festival Queens’ Day events. There was a boudin making demonstration, boudin eating contest, and they enjoyed the festival before introductions. Madison had such a great time and said the boudin was seriously the best boudin she’s ever had in her life!
