BACK ON TARGET, BETTER THAN EVER!

It’s time for another exciting year of St. Tammany Parish 4-H Shooting Sports! Whether you’re returning to the range or ready to take your first shot, we’re looking forward to a great season of learning, skill-building, friendships, and FUN! 🍀🎯

📅 Registration opens TODAY, September 7, and closes September 30, 2026!

🚨 IMPORTANT AGE REQUIREMENT:
Members MUST be at least 10 YEARS OLD to participate in the 4-H Shooting Sports program.

🏹 DISCIPLINES OFFERED:
• Air Rifle
• Archery
• Shotgun
• Smallbore .22 Rifle

✅ ALL 4 STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED TO BECOME A ST. TAMMANY PARISH 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS MEMBER — NO EXCEPTIONS!

1️⃣ ENROLL IN 4-H ONLINE & RECEIVE APPROVAL
🍀 Youth must be 10 years old or older
🍀 Complete your 2026–2027 4-H enrollment through 4-H Online
💲 Annual 4-H membership fee: $15

2️⃣ REGISTER FOR THE SHOOTING SPORTS CLUB
🎯 Log in to 4-H Online
🎯 Click the Events tab
🎯 Select St. Tammany Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Club Registration
📅 Registration: September 7–30, 2026

3️⃣ PAY ANNUAL SHOOTING SPORTS FEES
💲 $40 — One Discipline
💲 $60 — Two Disciplines
💲 $75 — Three Disciplines

Fees are paid through 4-H Online as part of Shooting Sports registration.

4️⃣ COMPLETE HUNTER EDUCATION CERTIFICATION
🦌 Hunter Education is required for ALL Shooting Sports members.
📅 Certification must be completed by January 1, 2027.
Registration is available through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries Hunter Education Program.

⚠️ REMEMBER: Completing regular 4-H enrollment does NOT automatically register you for Shooting Sports. You must complete all four steps above to participate!

Registration information for the 2026-2027 St. Tammany 4-H Shooting Sports Program will be coming soon, but there's one important step you can take now!

✅ Hunter Education Certification is required to participate in the 4-H Shooting Sports Program. If you have not yet completed your Hunter Safety Course, now is the perfect time to get certified before registration opens.

As our nation continues celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary, our office will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th.

As we commemorate 250 years of American independence, we wish you and your family a safe, happy, and patriotic holiday weekend filled with pride, gratitude, and celebration.

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, mentors, and father figures who lead by example, encourage curiosity, and support the next generation every step of the way.
