Our Labor Day Virtual Fishing Tournament is underway, and we want to see those catches! Grab your rod, hit the water, and show us what you can reel in! ☀️🌊

You can fish August 29 – September 8, so there’s still plenty of time to enter!

You've aimed, fired, and hit your mark... now it's time to level up! Join St. Tammany Parish 4-H Shooting Sports for another exciting year of sharpening your skills, building friendships, and having fun on the range.

🏹 Disciplines Offered:
• Air Rifle
• Archery
• Shotgun
• Smallbore .22 Rifle

✅ ALL 4 STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED TO BECOME A ST. TAMMANY PARISH 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS MEMBER (NO EXCEPTIONS):

1️⃣ Join 4-H Online and Enrollment Approved
• Members must be 10 years old or older
• Enroll or re-enroll beginning September 1, 2026, at https://v2.4honline.com
• Annual 4-H enrollment fee: $15

2️⃣ Register for the Shooting Sports Club
• Log in to 4-H Online
• Click the Events tab and select St. Tammany Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Club Registration
• Registration is open September 7 - 30, 2026

3️⃣ Pay Annual Shooting Sports Fees (through 4-H Online)
💲 $40 - One Discipline
💲 $60 - Two Disciplines
💲 $75 - Three Disciplines

4️⃣ Complete Hunter Education Certification
• Required for all Shooting Sports members
• Must be completed by January 1, 2027
• Sign up through Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries:

The wait is over! The St. Tammany 4-H Labor Day Virtual Fishing Tournament officially begins TODAY!

Grab your fishing gear, head to your favorite fishing spot, and see what you can reel in between August 29 and September 8.

Ever wonder what happens beyond the sugar field? 🍬🌾

The new Growing Careers: Beyond the Sugar Field workshop is giving students in grades 9-12 an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the exciting careers that power Louisiana's agriculture industry! Participants will explore the Sugar Research Station in St. Gabriel, meet industry professionals, and discover how science, technology, research, and innovation are shaping the future of sugarcane production.

✨ Hands-on activities ✨ Real-world career exploration ✨ Meet agricultural professionals ✨ Learn about Louisiana sugar breeding and production

📅 Workshop Date: October 14 📝 Application Deadline: September 10 👥 Open to ALL students in grades 9-12 (not limited to 4-H or FFA members!)
