Dear Neighbors of Project Rising Hope, we are sorry for any inconvenience today June 23, 2026, we will not be open today for groceries.
We did not receive our shipment of food as normal. We will be available outdoors to give out bread while supplies lasts.

We will resume normal shopping distribution next Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 12-4p.

Project Rising Hope will be Drive-thru ONLY, today, June 23rd at 12:00pm. The drive-thru will be located at the parking lot adjacent to Mingus Avenue
on the southeast side of Journey Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave. in the gravel parking area. Pre Packs will be
provided to all neighbors along with bread.

We will be back to regular shopping, indoors, next week June 30, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

A huge Thank you to all of our neighbors who contributed to the Stamp Out hunger food drive! We appreciate you! Thank you to all of our letter carriers and volunteers who helped today with pick up, sorting and storing these many donations that we will be able to distribute in the coming weeks to our community! We are stronger together!!

Once a year, USPS letter carriers help organize the largest single-day food drive in the U.S. 💌 This Saturday, May 9, you can participate in the Stamp Out Hunger ™ food drive hosted by the National Association of Letter Carriers. Simply leave a bag of non-perishable food next to your mailbox, and your mail carrier will handle the rest 🥫

Project Rising Hope is honored to be selected as a 2026 Community Impact Grant recipient by OneAZ Credit Union and the OneAZ Community Foundation, receiving a $7,500 award in celebration of OneAZ’s 75th anniversary of serving Arizonans.💜



Since 2016, the OneAZ Community Foundation has provided more than $3.5 million in funding to nonprofits working to strengthen communities across Arizona. 🌵



This year, $360,000 in Community Impact Grants were distributed to 48 local nonprofits—thanks to OneAZ members who support their communities with every swipe. Each purchase contributes one penny to the OneAZ Community Foundation to help fund grants like ours.



This generous support allows Project Rising Hope to continue making an impact through our mission to bring hope to our community by alleviating hunger in the Verde Valley. 🤝
