Camp Able at Coronado is a beach-based, aquatic day camp that operates each Summer. Designed to accommodate children

Our program includes daily activities of sailing, canoeing, swimming, boogie-boarding, water play, crafts, singing, games, and campfires.

We are incredibly excited to announce a wonderful addition to Camp Able, a brand-new Extreme Motus Wheelchairs All-Terrain Wheelchair, generously donated through a wonderful collaboration between FOCUSforChildren Coronado and Soroptimist International of Coronado!

This incredible gift will open up new opportunities for our campers to explore, participate, and experience outdoor adventures with greater accessibility and freedom.

At Camp Able, we believe every camper deserves the opportunity to experience adventure, friendship, and the joy of being included. This all-terrain wheelchair will be a tremendous asset to our program, helping us make even more activities accessible to the children and adults we serve.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Focus for Children Coronado and Soroptimist International of Coronado for your generosity, compassion, and continued commitment to making a difference in our community.

Because of collaborations like this and supporters like you, we're able to keep breaking down barriers and creating unforgettable experiences for our campers!

EFP launches Year 3! In collaboration with CCF, Camp Able, and Friends of the Coronado Public Library, the Exceptional Families Program (EFP) brings youth and adults with special needs and their families together through monthly activities that foster inclusion and connection.

Camp Able Exceptional Families Event: Make a Kite... Fly a Kite at Silver Strand State Beach
Saturday September 19th 10:30am - 12:30pm - Silver Strand State Beach - The Ocean Side - Picnic Tables by the bathrooms and tunnel to Camp Able. Parking Lot 3 next to the RV camping area
Join Camp Able and the Coronado Community Foundation for a morning of fun! We will be building and flying kites. You must RSVP to secure a spot. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on and make sure to wear a hat and sunscreen.
