Sisterhood is one of the strongest bonds we share at SEAL Family Foundation. It is built on friendship, service, compassion, and the unwavering commitment to support one another through every season of life.

Today, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to an extraordinary Sister whose dedication has helped shape our community for many years. Thank you for your steadfast leadership of the Hawaii Chapter, your countless hours of service, and the love and support you have shown to our families and fellow Sisters along the way.

The strength of our sisterhood is made possible by women like you.
Mahalo for your years of leadership and service. Your legacy will always be a cherished part of our SEAL Family Foundation ʻohana. ❤️🌺

What a fantastic day on the water at the Crown Cup Regatta!

Thirty sailboats took to the course in support of the SEAL Family Foundation, making for an exciting day of racing and camaraderie. The fun continued ashore with a wonderful post-race reception hosted by the Coronado Yacht Club, bringing together racers, supporters and friends of the Foundation.

A huge thank you to all the racers, the dedicated race committee and everyone who participated in making this event such a success. Your support helps the SEAL Family Foundation continue to serve Naval Special Warfare families when they need it most.

Early morning on June 6, 1944, the eyes of the world were on a specially trained group of soldiers emerging from a stormy English Channel onto a heavily guarded N**i beachhead in Normandy, France.

Naval Combat Demolition Units (NCDU), nicknamed “frogmen,” were among the first to land on Omaha and Utah beaches at the start of the D-Day invasion during World War II. They were tasked with destroying obstacles ahead of the main allied force’s assault, including embankments, log piles, crisscrossed steel structures known as hedgehogs and anti-tank mines.

Frogmen faced the full force of Germany’s initial counter-invasion resistance. On Omaha Beach, NCDUs suffered a 52% casualty rate, with 31 killed and 60 wounded out of 175 total Navy seamen and officers. Still, they completed their mission.

Following World War II, military planners recognized the need for specialized, covert and unconventional warfare spanning sea, land and air and officially founded the U.S. Navy SEALs in 1962.

On the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, SEAL Family Foundation honors the bravery, valor and sacrifice of all soldiers who stormed beaches in defense of freedom, especially the frogmen NCDUs who cleared a path for an elite fighting force to continue that mission today.

Being the spouse of a deployed, active-duty Navy SEAL can be its own kind of challenging tour of duty. Caring for children and other family members while their loved one is away serving our country requires a special kind of resilience. But they don’t have to do it alone.

Thanks to the SEAL Family Foundation, those holding daily home life together have the opportunity to connect and be part of a caring community of other spouses on the same journey.

We will never forget. 🤍

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

At SEAL Family Foundation, Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of our fallen heroes — and to stand alongside the families who carry their legacy forward every day.
We are forever grateful for those who gave everything in defense of our freedom. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
