BEFORE THE FIRST NOTE
IS PLAYED…🎼

When the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra takes the stage on October 24, 2026 the music may sound effortless.

But behind those beautiful moments are hundreds of hours of preparation.

Our professional musicians prepare individually at home before coming together for approximately 9 hours of orchestra rehearsal during concert week. With 25–75 musicians, that’s roughly 225–675 musician-hours of ensemble rehearsal for one concert, not including personal preparation which can be double the numbers.
And the conductor may spend another 40–80 hours studying a major symphonic work before the first rehearsal begins.

What you hear in one evening represents months of preparation.
Come experience the moment when it all comes together.

🎭MEET THE MUSIC: Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro”

What does musical mischief sound like? You’ll hear it on October 24 when the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra opens our concert with one of Mozart’s most exhilarating works: The Marriage of Figaro Overture! 🎶

Fast, sparkling and full of playful surprises, this brilliant burst of Mozartian energy captures the comedy, romance and chaos of the opera—without using a single melody from it.

Come hear it LIVE and let the mischief begin. ✨
