✨ 3 Featured Works ✨

🎶 The Star-Spangled Banner
Born from Francis Scott Key’s 1814 poem after the Battle of Fort McHenry, this iconic anthem became a lasting symbol of American resilience and pride. It was officially adopted as the U.S. national anthem in 1931.

🎶 Liberty Fanfare
Composed by John Williams in 1986 for the centennial of the Statue of Liberty, this bold and triumphant work celebrates freedom, hope, and the enduring American spirit.

🎶 Quiet City
Aaron Copland’s beautifully reflective work for trumpet, English horn, and strings captures stillness, longing, and quiet beauty. Adapted from music for Irwin Shaw’s 1939 play, it remains one of his most moving compositions.

The Semiquincentennial ✨🇺🇸

America’s 250th Anniversary—the Semiquincentennial—is a historic moment to reflect, celebrate, and come together in honor of our nation’s enduring spirit.

As our nation approaches a historic milestone, we invite you to join in celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States—often referred to as the Semiquincentennial. This once-in-a-generation moment offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, honor the resilience of the American spirit, and look ahead with hope and unity.

Across the country, communities are preparing to commemorate 250 years of independence, innovation, and cultural richness. It’s a time to celebrate not only where we’ve been, but who we are together. You are warmly invited to do that with us through a special evening of music:
