Coronado Fourth of July Coronado Fourth of July is a 501C3 nonprofit Tax ID #85-3107321, presenting the 4th Parade and Events We host one of the largest parades on the West Coast.

This is the greatest place to spend your time on Independence Day. The festivities have been created by a committee of local residents for the last 72 years, and gets support from the City of Coronado for safety and logistics. Entries come from all branches of the U.S. Military, bands from near and far, civic groups and more. A spectacular fireworks display ends the day over Glorietta Bay, and includes views of many additional fireworks shows around San Diego Bay.

🇺🇸💥 Coronado knows how to dress up for the Fourth — and now it’s your home’s turn to shine!

The Patriotic Home Front Judging 2026 is calling all Coronado residents to show their red, white, and blue pride. Bring out the flags, bunting, lights, ribbons, flowers, pinwheels, stars, stripes, and all the patriotic flair you can dream up.

Whether your style is classic, coastal, creative, over-the-top, or sweetly traditional, we want to see Coronado glowing with hometown spirit for America’s 250th birthday.

A few details to know:

🇺🇸 Open to all Coronado residents
🏡 Homes must be decorated and entry applications received by June 23, 2026
👀 Judging takes place June 25 and June 26, 2026
🎉 The winner will be announced June 26 on the CFOJ website, social media, press releases, and at the Parade
🎟️ The winner receives 10 Grandstand tickets for the Parade, with additional prizes possible
⭐ Entries should include an American flag plus at least three additional patriotic elements, such as flags, bunting, pinwheels, flowers, lighting, and more

So fluff the bunting, plant the flags, light up the porch, and let’s make Coronado look as festive as it feels.

One of the most thrilling moments of the Coronado Fourth of July celebration happens at 2:00 PM with the FROG-X Parachute Team Aerial Parachute Demonstration at the Coronado Golf Course, 16th Fairway.

This is the kind of Fourth of July moment that makes everyone stop, look up, cheer, and remember just how special it is to celebrate in a community with such deep military pride, patriotic spirit, and appreciation for service.

The precision. The courage. The teamwork. The red, white, and blue in the sky. It’s an unforgettable part of the day — and a powerful reminder that Coronado’s Fourth of July celebration is full of moments that inspire all ages.

🇺🇸💥 One of the best parts of Coronado Fourth of July isn’t just what we see in the sky or along the parade route — it’s who we connect with along the way. 💥🇺🇸

Neighbors saving curbside spots together. Families waving flags. Kids comparing patriotic hats. Visitors feeling welcomed. Volunteers, sponsors, donors, military families, longtime residents, and first-time paradegoers all becoming part of the same joyful community tradition.

Join us on July 4 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM for the Adrian Empire Demonstration and San Diego Star Wars Society Photo-Op at Star Park.

It’s a perfect stop for families, kids, fans, history lovers, costume lovers, and anyone who enjoys a great Fourth of July surprise. The Adrian Empire brings the pageantry, skill, and living-history fun, while the San Diego Star Wars Society brings a photo-op that is sure to be out of this world.

Come by, take photos, enjoy the demonstrations, meet the participants, and add a little extra adventure to your Coronado Fourth of July celebration.

The Coronado Fourth of July celebration is almost here, and we would love more wonderful volunteers to help make the day shine. Some volunteer roles are just an hour or two in the morning, while others offer fun ways to be part of the parade-day excitement, welcome visitors, support event flow, and help keep this beloved hometown tradition running smoothly.

Volunteering matters because this celebration belongs to all of us. Every friendly face, helpful hand, and extra hour given helps create the patriotic, joyful, community-filled day Coronado looks forward to all year long.

High school students and military members are especially encouraged to sign up! Volunteers can receive a certificate of volunteer service, which can help support school, service, leadership, and career opportunities along the way.

Bring your community spirit, invite a friend, and join us in making the 2026 Coronado Fourth of July celebration unforgettable.💥🇺🇸
