🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we continue to remember the strength, compassion and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🎆 The fireworks may get the oohs and aahs, but it takes more than 200 volunteers behind the scenes to help make Coronado’s Fourth of July celebration happen!

Earlier this month, CFOJ had the chance to celebrate some of those wonderful people at our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the VFW. ❤️🤍💙

From parade day and concerts to the fireworks and everything happening before, during and after — our volunteers give their time, energy, patience, problem-solving skills and, occasionally, a willingness to be somewhere VERY early in the morning. 😄

We simply couldn’t do it without them.

A huge THANK YOU to our CFOJ volunteers for showing up for Coronado and helping make this beloved community tradition possible year after year. 🇺🇸🎇

🇺🇸❤️ WE’RE STILL THINKING ABOUT WHAT AN AWESOME 250TH CELEBRATION THAT WAS!

There was something extra special about Coronado on the Fourth this year as our community came together to celebrate America’s 250th birthday — and this parade-day moment pretty much captures the spirit of it all. Red, white and blue, handmade with love, and plenty of Coronado pride! 🧵⭐️

The parade truly is the heart and soul of Coronado’s Biggest Day of the Year, bringing generations together to honor independence, tradition and service — and reminding us why this celebration means so much to our community.

To every parade participant, volunteer, sponsor, donor and spectator who helped make this historic Fourth one for the books: THANK YOU. 🇺🇸

What a celebration. What a community. And what a way to mark 250 years of America! ❤️🤍💙
