Busy weekend for Coronado juniors, high school team is off to Gold PCC in Long Beach and sabot race team is racing in the Luff-in at MBYC, good luck to everyone, sail fast⛵️

Great couple of weekends for the Coronado Yacht Club Sabot Racing Team!
Last weekend the team competed in the Gold Cup at Newport Harbor, with Riker finishing 2nd in C1.
This weekend at the Earl Elms Regatta at Mission Bay Yacht Club the team kept the momentum going:
Scotty - 4th in B Fleet
Ryker – 1st in C1, moving up to B Fleet
Reynolds – 2nd in C1
Finn – mid-fleet finish in C2
Jack – sailed his second Sabot regatta in C3
Thomas – top half of the fleet in C3
Great job sailors! Huge thanks to Coach James and Coach Braden and all parents for making these regattas possible!

This group of C*C junior sailors killed it today at the double handed SDAYC Luff-in hosted by SDYC! Seeing great results for the extra hours they have been sailing this winter⛵️ spring starts this week, looking forward to 5 days a week of sailors on the water!! Scotty and William 1st, Fiona and James 3rd, connor and George 4th out of 15 boats. Nice job by all!

2026 is off to a great start for the juniors! Congratulations to Connor in B fleet and Reynolds C1 fleet, both boys place second this weekend up in Long Beach at ABYC junior invitational regatta North series. Nice job by all sailors!
Coronado Junior’s also hosted 2/4 of the SCYYRA Hamlin 29er regatta in Southbay.

Busy few weekends of junior sailing, this past Sunday was make up regatta, we had 45 sabot sailors from all SDAYC,congratulation to all sailors⛵️and big thank you to club members that volunteered for the day. This weekend C*C is hosting the Perry regatta, 100 sailors racing in South Bay!
