Animal Shelter Partners was formed by 4 women with a passion for helping the Coos County Animal Shelter care for the animals that come through their facility. With these hard economic times, the county can not provide much more than the basics. FOCCAS has been a long time supporter, and continues to support, the shelter but they can't do it all. To raise funds to support the Coos County Animal Shelter with supplies not provided by the county. These needs include, but are not limited to, items for the health and well being of the animal (i.e. medical), the promotion of adoptions, and the repair/improvement of the shelter grounds itself. In November of 2021 the board voted to add a secondary purpose to their Bylaws. The secondary purpose of this corporation is: To raise funds to help with the medical needs of Coos County Animals (i.e. spay/neuter/vaccinations/emergency services or other medical needs as approved by the board).
