JAMF Accepting Grant Applications and LOIs for the 2026 Grant Cycle

The Judith Ann Mogan Foundation (JAMF) opens its application portal for the 2026 Grant Cycle on April 3, 2026.

Oregon nonprofits and publicly funded entities with projects in Southern Oregon Coast are invited to apply. A project must fall under one or more of JAMF’s seven priority areas to qualify: Arts & Culture, Children & Youth, Community Health, Convening & Gathering Places, Economic Development, Environment & Natural Resources, and Poverty Alleviation. To apply for a grant, please submit requests via the online application portal found on the JAMF website. We encourage applicants to review JAMF’s grant funding guidelines and grant cycle timeline at www.jamoganfoundation.org before applying.

For the 2026 Grant Cycle, JAMF is offering two (2) grant programs: a Small Grant program (request of $25,000 or less) and a Large Grant program (request of more than $25,000).
• The Small Grant program omits the LOI stage and is evaluated separately from the Large Grant process.
• The Large Grant program has a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) stage after which qualified applicants will be invited to fill out the Grant Application form.

Organizations can apply to one or both grant programs but are limited to a total of 2 applications for this Grant Cycle. Small Grants application and LOI forms will close on May 4, 2026.

Over the past five years, JAMF has awarded over $ 7.3 million to 189 organizations with 208 projects benefiting the Southern Oregon Coast. Beneficiary communities include Bandon, Brookings-Harbor, Charleston, Coos Bay, Coquille, Gardiner, Gold Beach, Lakeside, Langlois, Myrtle Point, North Bend, and Reedsport. A list of past organizations and projects awarded is found on the Foundation’s website.

Additional training opportunities this year! FREE JAMF Grant Application Workshop is available for interested grant applicants. This is your chance to ask questions! Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot for the April 9 (Small Grants application and Letter of Inquiry) or May 21 (Large Grant Application) session. You may also request individual consult time with staff if needed.

Since 1964, Lower Umpqua Hospital has been providing high-quality care to residents of western Douglas County. They’ve offered a wide range of essential healthcare services. Now, the hospital is pleased to introduce 3D Digital Mammography with the ASPIRE Cristalle system featuring Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) and the patented Comfort Paddle. This new technology delivers a better patient experience through brilliant imaging, gentle radiation dose, and enhanced comfort. In addition, residents of Reedsport, Lakeside, Scottsburg and surrounding areas can now access this important health care without having to travel to a distant provider. This will all translate to better care and better outcomes for years to come. The news doesn’t get much better than that!
What else can patients look forward to?
• Greater diagnostic accuracy, resulting in fewer false-positive callbacks.
• Faster, simplified image acquisition that allows technologists to focus on proper positioning and a more personalized experience.
• The patented Comfort Paddle, designed to reduce discomfort while improving compression quality.
We are proud to have partnered with LUH to help bring this state-of-the-art technology to the community. Is there such a thing as a win-win-win? We sure think so!

We're so pleased to lend a hand to these important updates at Mingus Park. This park has been Coos Bay's jewel for so many years. Generations even! Mingus Park has always been exceptional and now it's even more so and we're delighted to have been able to help out. It's definitely been our pleasure. Thanks so much for the shout out Mayor Benetti!
