The countdown to our 6th year is on, and we’re starting the year the best way we know how—with prayer. 🙏

We’re thrilled to have her joining our elementary team this year! She brings plenty of love, grace, and patience to our littlest learners—and somehow manages to sneak some big learning opportunities in there, too.

If you’re looking for Mrs. Silva, there’s really only one thing to do: follow the FUN 🥳

Whether she’s bouncing around while reading a story, marching her class down the hall to a song, or turning the entire classroom into a full-blown circus (literally), you can bet there’s a little troop of adoring five-year-olds close behind.

Kindergarten — and Riverview — just wouldn’t be the same without her. ❤️

We’re starting our staff spotlights with a pretty great plot twist: she’s coming home! 🏡

A Coos County native, and now officially part of the Riverview Elementary Crew, Mrs. George is bringing her talents back to the place she’s always called home.

We’re pretty sure the preschoolers are going to love her. We already do. ❤️💙

Apparently “summer break” has a very loose definition around here. We’re so thankful for this crew and for the way God continues to bring the right people to Riverview at just the right time. ❤️

We’re heading into YEAR SIX (excuse us while we pick our jaws up off the floor), and we’d love for you to help us cover our staff in prayer at our September 13 amphitheater service at 10am.

Six years. A whole lot of grace. And the God who works in all things. 🙌

The countdown to school is on, and around here, the building is buzzing! Teachers are knee-deep in lesson plans, classroom makeovers, and the very important business of deciding where everything goes... and then moving it three more times 😉.

There’s just something about walking into a fresh classroom at the beginning of a new school year. A few new touches can make a room feel more welcoming, more fun, and a little more like home for the kids who spend their days there.

Our teachers have put together a few classroom wishlists filled with things they’ve been dreaming about all summer. If you feel led to bless a classroom, we’d love for you to take a peek! There is absolutely zero pressure—these are simply those extra items that may not make it into the budget this year but would be a whole lot of fun to have in the classroom.

Yep, that’s right—we’ve got two fresh faces in the office this fall!

While we’re bummed to be saying goodbye to Mrs. Stacey and her years of faithful service to Riverview, we’re incredibly thankful for the time, care, and dedication she’s given to our school. We wish her nothing but the best as she heads off on her next adventure!❤️

Thankfully, God provided what might just be the literal dream team.

Please give a big Warrior welcome to Mrs. Nielsen and Mrs. Miller! These two have already hit the ground running—rearranging the office to improve workflow, making the space more welcoming, and diving headfirst into more projects than we can count. Somewhere in all of this, we’re pretty sure they’ve found a few extra hours in the day because the productivity around here has been suspiciously impressive.

We’re so excited to see what the Lord does through their individual talents and are incredibly thankful to have them joining the Riverview team!

🎓 High school students: we’ve got some BIG news... and yes, your future transcript may want to sit down for this.

This fall, Riverview Christian School students can begin earning college credit before they graduate high school!

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and are excited to announce new partnerships with George Fox University and Southwestern Oregon Community College to bring dual-credit opportunities right here to Riverview! That means college-level classes, taught on our campus, and credits your student may be able to check off before they ever walk across our graduation stage.

Coming this 2026-27 school year:
📚 LTR 100: Introduction to Literature
✍️ WR 121Z: Composition I
🇪🇸 Spanish courses: SP 101Z, SP 102Z, SP 201, SP 202, and SP 203Z
📐 MATH 190: Pre-Calculus
..and coming into the 2027–28 school year, students can look forward to:

📖 LTR 220: Great American Writers
🇬🇧 LTR 270: Great British Writers

So, high schoolers... you might want to start getting used to the phrase “college student.” 😉

There’s something about seeing a list of pencils, glue sticks, and wide-ruled notebooks that makes summer suddenly feel like it has somewhere to be. We’re not saying you need to start panic-shopping just yet, but the back-to-school aisles are calling...

As summer races by, we’re getting more and more excited for all the familiar faces returning and all the new ones joining us this fall! We can’t wait to fill these halls back up again. ❤️💙
