Filip!! ❤️

He has been incredible in helping me organize and build Unique Cookeville, our nonprofit organization, over the past year. He has been so supportive, encouraging, and willing to help in so many ways—and he truly cares about making our Cookeville community a safer and stronger place.

He also did an excellent job with the 5th Annual Upper Cumberland Emergency Preparedness Expo last September! His dedication and hard work definitely made a difference.

We are so lucky to have him in our community! I’m incredibly thankful to have him as a friend—someone I can trust, count on, and go to when I need help or guidance.

VIP helps ensure adults with developmental disabilities to have accessible opportunities to participate, learn, build friendships, and be part of their community! 🌟 VIP: A Place to Create, Connect & Have Fun!

Everyone deserves opportunities to learn, create, socialize, and feel connected to their community. Our VIP program is specifically designed for adults with developmental disabilities, providing a welcoming and supportive space where participants can enjoy new experiences alongside their caregivers.

Each month, Pat, who brings years of special education experience, leads participants through something new! Activities may include creative projects, games, learning opportunities, snacks, and plenty of fun. And this time, we’ll also have popcorn to enjoy! 🍿

More importantly, VIP encourages self-expression, builds confidence, supports social interaction, and gives participants a chance to form meaningful connections at the library.

💙 Why VIP matters: Public libraries are for everyone. Programs like VIP help ensure adults with developmental disabilities have accessible opportunities to participate, learn, build friendships, and be an active part of their community.

Come to Art Quest, where certified visual arts teacher Annette Romero turns Monday mornings into a chance to get creative, try new techniques, and see where your imagination takes you! Each week brings a different hands-on art activity or craft, so there’s always something new to discover.

And the best part? You don’t have to be an artist to join in! Art Quest is all about trying something new, having fun, and enjoying the creative process. 💙
