Let’s give back to our community food banks! The Exchange Club of Putnam County will be collecting food donations to join Exchange clubs across the state. We will be collecting food at our next club meeting on September 24,2026 at 6pm at the Putnam County Courthouse Conference Room. If you want to make a donation before then reach out to us here or contact Charlotte Sanders at 931 265 5185 or Carrie Argo at 931 252 2466 and we can arrange pick up. Thank you and let’s show up big for Putnam County to support a local food bank!

Exchange Club of Putnam County will have a meeting this Thursday at 6pm. This meeting will be at the Putnam County Courthouse conference room. If anyone is interested is seeing what exchange is about and how we support Putnam county it is free to attend a meeting. Please share and encourage others to attend and let’s work together to support children, youth, and Veterans of our community!!

Memorial Day was never about a long weekend.

It started in the years after the Civil War, when towns across America gathered at gravesites to lay flowers and read names out loud. The point was simple. Don't let anyone disappear.

That's still the work today. Say the names. Tell the stories. Make sure the children in our communities know who they're walking past in the cemetery.

The Exchange Club has spent more than a century honoring service. Today we honor the ones who paid the highest price for it.

It’s the final Blue Monday of April, and our month dedicated to the prevention of child abuse is coming to a close.

But for Exchange Club members, this work never stops. Pinwheels will fade from lawns. Blue shirts will go back in the drawer. The mission stays the same: every child deserves safety, love, and the chance to grow up protected.

Together we’ve spent April raising awareness, lighting up communities in blue, and standing for kids who can’t always stand for themselves. Now we keep going.

The Exchange Club of Putnam County is proud to participate in April’s Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. We planted pinwheels at the Putnam County Courthouse as a symbol of hope and a reminder of the importance of protecting our children. 💙

We’re also honored to support our community by sponsoring a bouncy house for children with disabilities at the Unique Cookeville festival. It’s all about creating safe, joyful experiences for every child.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month!

April is the month for the Prevention of Child Abuse, and every Monday we show up in BLUE! is our way of making a visible statement that protecting children is a priority we take seriously.

We might only have three Monday’s this month to show our support, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get the word out now!!
