💜💛 OPERATION GET HOME: EDUCATION, EMPOWERMENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT 💜💛

Today, the Mu Mu Nu and Rho Beta Beta Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. hosted Operation Get Home for their mentoring groups, the Omega Gents and Omega Lamp Lighters.

Members of the Divine Nine, including Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and Omega Psi Phi, joined law enforcement representatives to educate our young men on safely and responsibly navigating interactions with law enforcement.

Through interactive scenarios and role-playing as prosecutors and defense attorneys, the mentees developed critical-thinking skills and gained valuable perspectives on communication, accountability, and their rights.

Operation Get Home is more than a program—it’s a commitment to mentoring, empowering, and protecting our youth through education and community partnerships.

🛠️👔 BUILDING MEN. BUILDING SKILLS. BUILDING THE FUTURE. 👔🛠️
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Mu Mu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. spent the day with the Omega Gents learning practical life skills that every young man should know.
🚗 Automotive Basics
The Gents learned how to charge a car battery, change a tire, and check the oil—simple skills that build confidence, safety, and independence.
🔨 Tools & Home Maintenance
They were introduced to common household tools and learned what they’re used for and how to use them properly.
👔 Professionalism & Presentation
The lessons also included learning how to tie a necktie and properly clean and polish dress shoes—because how you present yourself matters.
More than anything, the day was about mentorship, confidence, responsibility, and preparing young men for life.We’re proud to pour into the next generation and help them develop the skills and character to become responsible men and future leaders.

Are you the parent, guardian, or mentor of a young African American male in grades 6-12 who is ready to grow, lead, learn, and thrive? This is an opportunity to be surrounded by positive role models, meaningful mentorship, brotherhood, academic encouragement, leadership development, community service, and life-changing experiences.

🌟 Only 45 young men will be selected for this transformational program.

Our mission is simple: Empower young men to become confident leaders, responsible citizens, scholars, and future difference-makers in their communities.
