Danny Jordan was awarded firefighter of the year from the Colville Fire Department. This award is given to firefighters who go above and beyond their duty and show a commitment to keeping our community safe. Danny is always the first to volunteer when help is needed for projects or community outreach events. He has become a staple in our department.🏆🚒🔥🏆

Colville Fire gets all sorts of calls. Today we were asked to assist a citizen in retrieving her cat that climbed up a pole. Even though it is well known that cats will eventually come back down what they climb, we were able to asist but only after verifying it was safe to throw a ladder. Congratulations to our very own Captain John Lofts. John was awarded Volunteer of the year for the city of Colville for all his dedicated work. Some notable acts in his 12 plus years on the department are writing countless grants and being awarded nearly $1 million dollars over the years, organizing community outreach events, organizing youth saftey programs, working as the assistant chief, working as the departments saftey officer, and helping lead/instruct a new generation of volunteers. But thats not all. For those of you who don't know him, John also volunteers with Stevens County Sheriffs EMS as the commander for the technical rescue team. AND has served his community for 18 years as a police officer where he currently works as a Sergeant for Colville PD.

!!!IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!!!
Open house May 18th from 3pm to 8pm @ the Colville Fire Hall located at the corner of 1st and Elm in Colville. Open to everyone young and old. Activities for kids! And tours for adults. We will also provide information regarding our department and district. Snacks and hotdogs provided free of charge but donations always appreciated. Cant wait to see everyone!
