Heroes out in the sun picking blackberries for others-Lynn and Gretchen. Jes also volunteered her time and energy-she took the picture. Thanks to Eldon and Lillian for letting their blackberries be gleaned for food pantry distribution.

What is happening at our community kitchen?
Fresh local fruits and vegetables are preserved for winter. Healthy local blueberries were freeze dried and will be used in oatmeal packets.

Our first batch of Blueberry Oatmeal packets went out yesterday to Feeding Ferry County for their kids summer snack distribution.
Shout out to Stephanie Conner for making this program come to life with lots of hard work and dedication. We look forward to tackling hunger together.
