💚 Free Store Current Needs 💚
Alicia’s Closet has a free store for kinship, foster, and reunified families, as well as former foster youth. To meet the needs within this community, we need your help! Our inventory changes quickly, so each month we post an updated list of our most needed items.

Thank you for:
💚 “Donating with Dignity" by ensuring that items are new/like new or very gently used and free of stains, holes, pilling, and fading.

💚 Washing/cleaning all clothing and shoes prior to donating.

💚 Separating clothing by gender and size and labeling all bags to make sorting quicker for our volunteers.

***UPDATED for JUNE/JULY 2026*** Donation drop off is on TUESDAYS from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and SATURDAYS from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at 6369 Dublin Industrial Lane 43016.

💚 Free Store Update 💚
May was a busy month at the Alicia’s Closet Free Store! We supported 17 babies, kids, and teens that were first time shoppers (let’s keep getting the word out about Alicia’s Closet) and 62 returning shoppers who came for clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and other essentials.

Foster, kinship, and reunified families shopped with us, as well as former foster youth.

We met their needs thanks to so many of you who continue to support us through donations, monthly giving, sending Amazon Wish List items, and hosting donation drives.

If you want to help replenish what was distributed recently, here’s how:

We are close to a total wrap! 🎁 Our fundraiser is coming together beautifully, but we still have a few specific "wish list" items to secure for our Silent Auction and Raffle.
We are currently looking for:

✨ Couple or Family Expierences in Columbus

We are opening the call for sponsorships and donations for the Alicia’s Closet Christmas in July fundraiser! As we prepare to fill the Gahanna Sanctuary on July 18th, we are looking for community partners who want to stand with us.

Why celebrate in July? Because Santa’s sleigh is a lot easier to load when we start early! The funds raised at the event directly support our annual Help for the Holidays program, allowing us to swap the December 'crunch' for a season of calm, prepared, and meaningful giving. So whether it’s a corporate sponsorship or a unique item for our silent auction and raffle, your generosity directly provides gifts and program essentials to families in our community.

Ways to contribute:
