Bath & Body Works MP&A Canada Team supported Dreams on Horseback by cobwebbing and prepping the fences for painting at our Stepping Stone Stables facility last week. With the help of Besa’s coordination this group of community heroes gave their time to complete important work that preserves resources so more people with disabilities and veterans can enrich their lives with horses at Dreams. Thank you Besa for helping to orchestrate NetJets corporate volunteer day at Dreams on Horseback. This hard working group spent their day spreading mulch on the sensory trail and painting at Dreams - both of which keep our farm inviting for our participants and their families.

🦃 Unexpected Visitor Alert!

This week, our horses got a surprise when a turkey casually wandered into the barn as if he had an appointment. He strutted down the aisle, inspected the facilities, checked on the horses, and seemed ready to volunteer for a shift.

While our feathered friend didn’t stay long, he reminded us of something important. Turkeys are often associated with gratitude, and at Dreams on Horseback, we have so much to be thankful for.

We are grateful for our participants who inspire us every day, our volunteers who give their time and talents, our donors who make our programs possible, our dedicated staff, and our incredible community partners who believe in the healing power of horses.

So thank you to everyone who supports Dreams on Horseback. Whether you volunteer, donate, attend an event, sponsor a horse, or simply share our story, you help create life-changing experiences for the people we serve.

And to our unexpected turkey visitor - thank you for the reminder. We have a lot to be grateful for. 🦃❤️🐴
