Who's ready for Creative Connections tonight? ✋

We're bringing out all the fun! We've got a slideshow of artists' work that will be on display throughout the event, and a playlist of music by local musicians for everyone to enjoy the whole night too. Thunderwing Brewing has us covered with the best brews and N/A drinks, and they've lined up to join in the festivities.

Creative Connections is an open arts networking gathering designed to bring together artists, creatives, and community members to connect, share ideas, and talk about the projects they’re working on. It's one of our favorite events and we hope to see you there. All are welcome!

Join us for a 2 hour zine-making workshop with Rebecca Gonzalez and the Hilltop Arts Collective on Sunday, June 28th from 1:30 -3:30 PM. Bring any memorabilia or ephemera you specifically want to use in your zine, but magazines, paper, glue, and scissors will be provided.

The Westgate Neighbors Association & Hilltop Arts Collective are bringing back one of our favorite summer traditions , with a new name and a new date!
Formerly known as Music on the Porch Day, this year’s event has been reimagined as:

 ROCK THE BLOCK: Music. Art. Community. 

Saturday, July 18, 2026
from 10-6. 

We’re looking for musicians, bands, singers, songwriters, and performers from the Westgate community to play on their porches throughout the day! We have had a great turnout in the past and appreciate all of our former and future artists that participate!
Whether you play folk, rock, jazz, indie, blues, acoustic, or something totally bizarre (we love bizzare), we’d love for you to be a part of this event.

This event is all about neighbors, music, art, and celebrating the creative spirit of our Westgate residents together.

We are hoping to have t-shirts this year featuring the artists, so if you’re interested, sign up by July 1st, 2026.

We're excited to spend the evening with our friends at Thunderwing Brewing tomorrow! Join us for our Creative Connections Meet-Up and enjoy brews, N/A drinks, dinner from Gyro Hero, and of course, time with our creative community 🍻

We are back midweek, and with 5 days remaining in our 12 Day Taproom Challenge, here is what we have lined up for you all! 🖐️⤵️

Today, Saturday, and Sunday are business as usual in the Taproom. Shelter from the rain with us and enjoy a round or two of Sporcle Live Trivia. As always, it’s free to play, and winners earn gift cards for future use! ✅🧠

Thursday, our friends with the Hilltop Arts Collective will be hanging out and crafting from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the Gyro Hero will be serving up end-of-week eats from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.🎨🥙

Friday is going to be a blast! We are excited to release “I Think I Blue My Pants” Session IPA (Pants Dance) with Blueberry! Both Great Glizzies Gourmet Hot Dogs and Queens Entertainment will be here slinging dogs and great times from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 🤭👖🫐🌭🎶

We heard we have a few people in the race to the end of the 12 Day Taproom Challenge, so keep it up, fighters! Let’s keep the good times and craft beer flowing! 👀🏆
