Last night, CSL enjoyed another monthly fun get-together. There were 30 of us that met at the The Club House at Muirfield Ridge in Dublin OH. There was a cooking program presented by our own member, Connie Cahill. She added an amusing touch to her agenda by inviting Susan Cochran to participate in creating a dish, blindfolded. Thank you, Susan!
Special thanks to the hosts: Gwen Weihe, Melinda Williams, and Judy Connelly for the delicious dinner.

This afternoon in Delaware, OH, the Columbus Symphony League and A Proper Garden jointly held a beautiful High Tea event raising funds for our Columbus Symphony Youth Musicians.

Co-chairs: Becky Rhoads & Judy Connelly worked closely with A Proper Garden owners Chris Gueli and Bob Van Cura. It was a lovely event. In preparation for creating beautiful spring & summer gardens, please, stop by 5840 Olentangy River Road.

At our April CSL meeting, we had the wonderful & motivating entrepreneur, Doug Morgan, speak on his favorite topic - Barn Restoration in Ohio. Beth Morgan shared her undeniable support for Doug. It was such an interesting presentation. www.mtvernonbarn.com.

At our CSL meeting at the Franklin Park Conservatory, the CSL had the opportunity to see one of Doug’s barns: The Wells Barn.

After lunch, Judy Connelly (CSL President and April 25 fundraising co-chair), along with Becky Rhoads (co-chair for the CSL fundraiser) reviewed activities & silent auction items for the CSL High Tea fundraiser which (again) will be held on April 25 from 3-5 pm at The Proper Garden. Please see earlier post for more information.

Subject: You're Invited to TEDxWorthington Women 4/9/26

Dear Powerful and Inspiring Columbus Women,

I have been so glad to meet you since joining our community last July. I am writing today to invite you to a talk I will be giving at TEDxWorthington Women on April 9th. It’s a full-day event in Worthington with 16 speakers including a Shark Tank founder and a former Ninja Warrior. This curated experience is designed to spark connection; bringing a lineup of authors, creatives, athletes, and innovators to the stage to explore the theme of Bridge Builders. We will aim to move beyond the surface to explore leadership without titles, the reality of modern boundaries, and the raw power of the female voice. I invite you to join an audience of professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers for a day of live talks and immersive media that will change the way you see your community.

In my talk, I'll be exploring the idea of cultural infrastructure: the orchestras, museums, artists, and creative spaces that quietly shape the identity, economy, and vitality of our communities.

The details:
When: Wednesday, April 9th, 9am–4pm (with a lunch break)
Where: McConnell Arts Center, 777 Evening St, Worthington. Free parking.
Tickets: $150 general / $130 with this speaker link
