Story of Mentorship: Paying It Forward

Every teacher has a teacher.

From the very beginning, mentors shared their wisdom with us. The Holistic Life Foundation, Inc. was one of those mentors, helping us see new possibilities for bringing yoga and mindfulness to children and educators.

We brought those lessons home. And then something beautiful happened. The learning kept moving.

An educator learned a practice from us.
A student experienced it in their classroom.
A teacher shared it with a colleague.

For 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of learning from others—and sharing what we’ve learned with educators who carry it forward every day.

10 Years of Impact. One Story of Mentorship.

Ten years ago, we were two educators with a question:
How can we help students get curious about their inner world so they can better navigate the world around them?

Through a Fund for Teachers fellowship, we had the opportunity to look for answers.

We traveled to Bangalore, India, to study at Atma Darshan Yogashram and learn from teachers who generously shared their knowledge, practices, and perspectives.

We were curious. We were open. And we were ready to learn.

We came home with notebooks full of ideas, hearts full of inspiration, and a belief in the power of sharing what we had learned with our community.

That belief became Wellity Education.

And 10 years later, we’re still learning, sharing, and paying it forward.

This is our Story of Mentorship. 💙💚
