Clothing is an incredibly important component of how children are able to show up in the classroom. When students don’t have the right uniform or their clothes don’t fight correctly they can be kept out of the classroom or face additional obstacles that stop them from fully showing up in their education. Charity Newsies works to eliminate these barriers for students.

Charity Newsies works to ensure that no child is kept out of school due to a lack of adequate clothing. Clothing is an important element of how students show up. If they don’t have the right uniform they can’t show up to school, if they don’t have clothing that makes them feel confident this can further absenteeism, and if they don’t have winter weather gear, they can’t wait for the school bus on cold days. Charity Newsies work is incredibly important in helping make sure more students have meaningful access to their own education.

It’s been a busy week here at Charity Newsies! Yesterday we hosted with for another day of service. This team was amazing and got through three separate projects, doing an amazing job to help us get ready for our upcoming clothing distribution season! Thank you!
