Support our spring floral fundraiser now through Wednesday, April 29! Are you planning to purchase flowers for your home? Buy a range of flowers, vegetables and herbs through our partnership with Foertmeyer & Sons and make your yard beautiful while giving back to Stems for Seniors!

Visit https://app.fundraiseit.org/shop.php?code=30EA14 and purchase the flowers of your choice. We’ll receive between $4.50-$10 of every sale! Then pick up your order on Friday, May 15 between 10:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. in Powell (at 10034 Brewster Lane; look for the Stems for Seniors tent in the parking lot).

“Including Stems for Seniors in our wedding was one of the easiest and most meaningful planning decisions we made,” said Margo. “Knowing our flowers from Battiste LaFleur Galleria would brighten seniors’ days through Meals on Wheels the next morning was also a very sweet way to honor our late grandparents, especially my grandmother who volunteered with Meals on Wheels in the 1970s. For all of these reasons and more, we highly recommend Stems for Seniors.”

Last month we had our first ever Flowersgiving—our way of helping add some extra joy to Thanksgiving for local homebound seniors by delivering them bouquets of flowers for the holiday. We partnered with the local Columbus floral community and with to create and deliver more than 125 Flowersgiving bouquets (and smiles)!

And thank you to our Stems for Seniors Bouquet Brigade for creating the Flowersgiving bouquets and for the LifeCare Alliance volunteers for delivering the bouquets to their clients along with their regular Meals On Wheels deliveries!

Eliza and Todd said I do in May and generously donated their flowers to us. As a result, we were able to create and deliver 50 surprise bouquets to seniors in the Columbus area!

“I was extremely pleased with how easy the process was, and I was even more pleased with how smoothly the pick-up went on the night of the wedding,” Eliza said.
