You don't have to love exercise to live a long, healthy life—you just need to find movement you love.

That's what Dolly Parton did. Despite admitting she hated traditional exercise, the country music superstar developed her own workaround: what she called "rejoicing exercises."

Dr. George Hennawi, executive director of Geriatrics and Senior Services, recently told TIME why Parton's unique approach may hold the key to helping others age successfully.

Read the interview in the comments.

Her workout had gospel music, diddly-squats, and absolutely no gym rules.

We recently celebrated the expansion of the MedStar Pathology Associates Laboratory (MPAL) in newly built and expanded, increasing the capacity to process and diagnose biopsy specimens from outpatient procedures across the system.

Keeping specimens within our system means clinicians and pathologists can work within the same electronic health record, communicate more efficiently and provide consistent diagnoses across both inpatient and outpatient settings. It also strengthens specimen tracking and gives pathologists access to a patient’s complete medical history.

Most importantly, the expanded laboratory can significantly reduce turnaround time for diagnoses, previously from a week or more to now just two to three days, helping patients and their care teams get answers sooner.
