The Hive Community Circle leads in culturally specific, holistic care for all survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking in South Carolina. The Hive CC provides prevention, intervention, and educational awareness for sexual assault and dating violence. Our programs focus on achieving optimal health, and services are also offered in the areas of sexual risk avoidance, life skill development, and self efficacy.

Tomorrow is the final day of early voting for the June 9 Statewide Primary. If you have not cast your ballot yet and plan to vote early, be sure to make time before early voting ends on Friday.

🗳️ Early Voting Hours:
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

📍 Voters can visit any early voting center in their county and vote just as they would on Election Day. Remember to bring your Photo ID!

Early voting for the June 9 Statewide Primary ends this Friday, June 5. If you have not voted yet, now is the time to make your plan and head to an early voting center near you.

📍 Early Voting Dates: Now – June 5
🕣 Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
🪪 Remember your Photo ID.

Now is the time to make your plan to vote and make your voice heard. Early voting gives you the opportunity to cast your ballot ahead of Election Day and avoid long lines while making civic engagement part of your schedule.

⏰ Early voting centers are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

We’re excited to share updated hours for The Hive’s Casita of Care 🐝💛✨

The Casita of Care is a boutique-style shopping experience designed to offer dignity, hope, and healing for individuals impacted by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking in the South Carolina Midlands. Community members can access essential hygiene and home goods in a welcoming and supportive environment.

If our regular operating hours do not work for you, we encourage you to call our office to schedule a visit outside of those times. We want to ensure our community can access care and support in ways that feel safe and accessible. 🌿

Today we honor the lives and legacies of the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸💛

We recognize the loved ones and families whose lives have been forever changed by that sacrifice and who continue to keep their memories alive each day. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we move through today, may we lead with gratitude, compassion, and reflection while spending time with the people and communities we cherish most.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re sharing a simple but meaningful creative wellness practice from our recent Seeds of Serenity Circle event 💛

In this video, artist and curator Ija (Monae) Charles talks about scribble art and how we used it during our pot painting activity as a way to slow down, express ourselves, and embrace creativity without pressure or perfection. Thank you, Ija, for sharing such a thoughtful and accessible self-care tool with our community!

Scribble art can be practiced anywhere using a canvas, paper, a journal, pots, or any item you’d like to transform into something meaningful. Sometimes healing can begin with giving ourselves permission to simply create.
