The African American Community Roundtable of Howard County (AACR) extends a heartfelt thank-you to all of our members who joined us yesterday for our first-ever Member Appreciation Event!

We had a wonderful time connecting, sharing ideas, and engaging in meaningful discussions about our work and the future of our coalition. We know Saturdays are busy, with many of our members balancing multiple events and commitments, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to be with us!

A special thank-you to the Horizon Foundation for graciously hosting us and for your continued support of our work and our community. Your partnership helps make gatherings like this possible.

In Howard County (MD), a fairly-priced place to call home can be hard to find. There are not enough places to live that people of all incomes can afford. We’re a growing community of neighbors coming together to do something about it – pushing for policy change that builds more fairly-priced homes, strengthens renters' rights, and addresses unfair housing practices.

This Sunday at 9AM & 11AM, we gather for more than just a service—we gather for an encounter.
We will lift up the name of Jesus Christ and close out our Acts 2 series, diving deep into the power and purpose of small groups—the kind of community that transforms lives.
This week will be uniquely powerful.
We’re hosting a Sermonic Small Group Experience led by our Lead Pastor & Covering Bishop, joined by influential voices from the Celebration family & across our state and community—including
Governor Wes Moore and Howard County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball.
Together, they’ll all share one unifying truth:
how faith in God (Jesus Christ) shapes, strengthens, and transforms both personal journeys and public leadership.
This is more than a message—
it’s a living example of Acts 2:42–46 unfolding in real time.
Come expecting:
💯 Authentic conversation
🔥 Spiritual insight
🔌 Real community
📖 Biblical truth in action
Make plans now. Bring someone with you.
This is a Sunday you don’t want to miss.
