We’re excited to share that we have been awarded a $2,500 grant to build out our Hoop House Learning Lab through Richland County’s Neighborhood Improvement Program! 🌱

This space will become a hands-on classroom where children and youth (K–12), older adults, and other community members can learn the fundamentals of gardening through interactive, sensory experiences, from planting seeds to harvesting fresh produce. Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to grow their own food and strengthen our community’s food security.

We are so grateful to be selected this year and excited to bring this project to life. 💚

They’ll learn how cucumbers grow, harvest fresh produce, and even discover the art of pickling. We’re excited to share the joy of gardening, healthy eating, and learning where food comes from. 😊
