Good morning from Galilee,
Once again, I woke up this morning to hear the U.S. president claim that without him, Israel would not exist. This time, he went even further, saying that the entire Middle East would not exist.
While I understand the context in which he made these remarks – emphasizing the importance of his decision to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities – he is unknowingly feeding the far left the exact narrative on which it thrives.
Most Americans do not want to send their soldiers into war or bear the burden of ever-rising fuel costs for the sake of a foreign country’s survival.
Let’s set the record straight:
Neither the Middle East nor Israel at its center needs America in order to survive. America was not there throughout the centuries of persecution that culminated in the Holocaust. The death camps were not bombed, and the MS St. Louis, carrying more than 900 Jewish refugees fleeing the N***s, was denied permission to land in the United States. The ship was forced to return to Europe, where 254 of its passengers were later murdered in the Holocaust.
America has been blessed because it has stood with Israel. God established this biblical principle clearly:
“I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 12:3
Balaam also declared concerning Israel:
“How lovely are your tents, O Jacob!
Your dwellings, O Israel!”
Numbers 24:5
“He bows down, he lies down as a lion;
And as a lion, who shall rouse him?
Blessed is he who blesses you,
And cursed is he who curses you.”
Numbers 24:9
Supporting Israel is not merely a favor America does for Israel – it is a blessing America brings upon itself.
Let us all agree that, throughout history, God has used many empires and world leaders to bring deliverance to His people. Mordecai said it plainly to Esther:
“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place.”
Esther 4:14
God’s plans for Israel have never depended on one nation, empire, or leader. If one refuses to act, relief and deliverance will arise from another place.
So, to all the confused conservatives, brainwashed leftists, and evil jihadists: Do not use President Trump’s words against him. He may sometimes say the wrong things, but God is leading him to do the right things!
