Shield616 SHIELD616 is a non-profit that donates all day rifle protection to first responders and bridges the gap between communities and first responders.

Shield616 was formed with the patrol officer in mind. The goal of Shield616 is two fold:

First, we want to equip every officer with level IIIA rifle protection. With violence on the rise, we are proactive in ensuring first responders have the necessary equipment for any situation they face. Second, we want to provide a support group for that officer who will pray for the officer and family on a d

aily basis and shower the officer with support and encouragement throughout the year. Shield616 is mindful of limited department budgets. Not only will all of the gear be donated, but it’s our mission to replace the armor every five years, at no cost to any officer or department.

We’re continuing our Friends of the Sheriff Campaign across rural Colorado, recently delivering armor to the Cheyenne County, Kiowa County, and Baca County Sheriff’s Offices. 🙏

Small rural agencies often face tight budgets, staffing shortages, and geographic challenges. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’re able to provide life-saving Angel Armor to these deputies.

We’ve officially begun our Friends of the Sheriff deliveries across Colorado! 🎉

This week, we had the privilege of visiting the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, and Kit Carson County Sheriff’s Office to deliver Angel Armor vests, a Bible, and prayers for the deputies who faithfully serve their communities.

Up next: Cheyenne County, Kiowa County, and Baca County Sheriff’s Offices.

We are incredibly grateful to the donors who make this program possible. Your generosity allows us to support some of Colorado’s smallest sheriff’s offices with life-saving equipment, encouragement, and reminders that they are not forgotten.

Last night, we had the honor of being in Lebanon, Tennessee at Tucker's Gap Event Center for a very special vest presentation alongside The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project benefiting the Wilson County Sheriff's Office, TN.

Tucker’s Gap was an incredible venue for this fundraiser and presentation, and the hospitality shown by Christine and Kevin New and their entire staff was truly outstanding. 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to David Corlew, Hazel Daniels, Antoinette Ricciuti, and everyone at The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project for coming alongside our mission to help better protect local deputies in need. Because of their hard work and generosity, enough funds have already been raised to provide armor for 54 deputies. Last night, we had the privilege of presenting the first 30 vests with more on the way.🙏

We are also incredibly grateful for the support of Robert Bryan, Mike Stafford, and everyone at the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office who helped make the evening so meaningful and memorable. 💙
