Recently, 17 people were baptized in Bhutan! God is moving! Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters over there as they carry out ministry to spread the Gospel.
We were informed that an individual was arrested following a baptism service officiated by a visiting pastor from Nagaland. Charges were pressed claiming that believers were forced into being baptized, using photos of attendees found in their possession as grounds for the accusation. The individual was held in custody for five days, with legal proceedings and bail applications delayed due to government holidays.
Throughout the detention, authorities conducted over eight hours of interrogation. However, the individual refused to disclose the names or identities of any associates or participants.
On the morning following the holiday, the individual was released after the princess intervened, having been informed of the situation by her elder brother. He has now returned home safely.
Please continue to pray for our missionaries overseas, as this is just one of the battles our local missionaries face daily. Pray for protection, discernment, peace, wisdom, and strength as they enter their communities. The enemy seeks to hold them back, but we know God has already delivered us from evil. We will continue reaching the unreached and striving to plant a church in every village.
