CDAIDE

CDAIDE is a local non-profit dedicated to serving one of the most needy groups in our community; those working in the hospitality industry.

Our goal is to build a community-wide organization of individuals and entities, whether secular or faith-based, to provide support through interactive relationships with those working in our restaurants, fast food places, and hotels and motels. We aim to be in relationships with community organizations, individuals, and hospitality workers.

CDAIDE is a resource and partner in meeting needs of in

dividuals who serve, but who also need to be served. Our support could include mentoring, financial support, as well as referrals to medical/dental care, counseling, or other community services as determined are needed. While First Presbyterian Church took the lead in creating CDAIDE our next step is to reach out to community partners so that a community-wide outreach will be possible.

Thank you to all who helped raise funds for our organization and for the many other worthy causes here in Idaho with Idaho Gives! CDAide was also a recipient of a $1,000 prize drawing from the amazing Greater Coeur d'Alene Community Foundation at an Idaho Gives happy hour at Daft Badger Brewing Wednesday night!

Today is the start of Idaho Gives💙

From May 4–7, our community comes together to support local nonprofits—and we’re honored to be part of it.

At CDAIDE, we show up when hospitality workers face the unexpected. A medical emergency. A missed paycheck. A car repair that can’t wait.

Through referrals from managers and coworkers, we step in quickly—paying urgent bills directly so people can stay housed, get back to work, and move forward with dignity.

We’ve seen firsthand what your support makes possible:
• A worker recovering from surgery able to stay in their home
• A parent catching up on rent after illness
• Someone getting back on their feet without falling deeper into debt

A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the last night a success! This includes our sponsors, food providers (Sysco and local chefs), volunteers, auction item donors, service staff at The Coeur d'Alene Golf & Spa Resort, and of course everyone who attended the event.
