House of Pearls is a curated experience. Our team put careful thought in designing an event to remember.

Our guests will enjoy a plated lunch and a showcasing of fashions.

Following “the show”, guests will enjoy music by none other than BEST KEPT SOUL.

The Summer Social is a collaborative event with The Pearls of Distinction Foundation, Inc. and the proceeds go towards scholarships, programming in the Chester County communities we serve and support of community partners.

It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Iota Tau Omega serves in Chester County so we also chose to dine at Manjé Caribbean Cuisine in West Chester PA.

It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Iota Tau Omega serves in Chester County so we chose to dine at Teens Place in Oxford PA.

We snapped a 📸 of the delicious cornbread. Good food and good company. We enjoyed everything so much that we forgot to get a picture of our main dishes before we dug in 😭

If you’re in the area and have not been to Teens Place, drop in…..it will be worth the time.

Iota Tau Omega members live, work and serve in Chester County.

During this year’s AKA Day at the Capitol, members took the opportunity to visit legislators.

During this visit, they discussed policies and legislation that impact them as resident constituents and the communities we serve.

Advocacy and Civic Engagement are a Serious Matter.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority always has been at the forefront of social justice to promote fairness and equity. We stand in the gap to empower our communities and act in the best interests of all people through social advocacy and justice.

We would like to thank Rep. Dan Williams and Rep. Danielle Friel Otten for making the time to meet with our chapter members.
