AHHAH Arts Holding Hands and Hearts, Inc. AHHAH is a 501(c)3 organization based in West Chester, PA. Our mission is empowering youth, strength It was founded in April, 2013 by Jan Michener.

Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) is an expressive arts and literacy non-profit organization. AHHAH serves disadvantaged youth and their families in communities in Chester County, with our primary focus as Coatesville, PA. Our programs are designed to engage youth in mindful, artistic initiatives in order to establish positive pathways towards building a productive and fulfilling future.

AHHAH's Step Up, Step Out, Make A Difference (SUSO) program is a 30-week after-school program teaching empowerment, leadership, and self-care skills to Coatesville girls in grades 9-12. The next session of SUSO begins on September 9, 2026, and meets on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:45 PM at Coatesville High School. We are so grateful to the incredible community that came together to celebrate our fourth annual Restorative Justice Open House yesterday evening, and so proud and inspired by the amazing young people and teachers in our Restorative Justice Filmmaking Team who shared their stories.

Thank you so much to the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center in West Chester for hosting the event, which featured a screening of the documentary film Invisible No More Part 2: Walk In My Shoes created by AHHAH's Restorative Justice Filmmaking program for youth on probation, as well as the Justice Restored 3.0 Traveling Art Exhibit and Restorative Justice photography.
