Today we celebrate a beautiful milestone in the life of one of our residents, her 1-year Spiritual Birthday! 💜

One year ago, she made the life-changing decision to begin a personal relationship with Christ. Since then, we have witnessed incredible growth, healing, courage, and hope as she continues her journey toward freedom and restoration.

Her story is a reminder that no matter where we have been, new beginnings are possible. We are honored to walk alongside her as she discovers her worth, purpose, and the abundant life God has for her.

Please join us in celebrating this special day and pray for her continued healing and growth in the year ahead!

🦺Our volunteer yard team could really use some help!

As the Texas heat rolls in, so does the need to keep our home beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming for the women we serve. Our Yard Team plays such an important role in creating a safe and healing environment, and this summer they could really use some extra help. ☀️

Sometimes healing starts with something as simple as the right workbook, journal, or study at the right moment. 💜

At Refuge for Women, we use trauma-informed curriculum designed to help survivors heal safely, rebuild confidence, and process their experiences without re-traumatization.

Each resident is gifted every book she studies so she leaves with tools and resources to continue her healing journey long after the program. Because of this, we cycle through a large number of books and curriculum needs throughout the year.
