Brazoria County Recovery Commitee Our walk is a chance to gather in showing the community what is available for helping those struggling with addiction and mental illness.

As resource finders we find the help you need. Our scholarships are for recovering individuals healing our community! BCRC holds an annual walk to provide an open forum for recovery initiatives in our county to present their services to the public. We are an active resource finder for those suffering from mental illness and addiction as well as alcoholism. We also provide a yearly scholarship at both Brazoria County Community Colleges (BCC & ACC) for active students in active recovery. (Apply through the college or our website. For immediate and confidential help 24/7, contact the OSAR LMHA for your county. Counties served by each OSAR are listed on the HHS website. Local OSAR information can be found at ADAPT programs, Gulf Coast Counseling Center page or by calling 855-862-3278

Kratom IS an op**te, period, end of story.
The argument that it saves addicts from some other more addictive / dangerous op**te has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. You’re only swapping one form for another.
Time for a statewide kratom ban.
