“Be Love. Heal Humanity. Honor Truth. Prioritize Justice. Practice Nonviolence365”, is the theme this year for The Clovis Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commission’s Art, Essay and Speech contest. Posters and trifold pamphlets have been distributed to the front offices of all K-12 Clovis Municipal Schools and the Clovis Christian School. Projects are due December 4th.

The District competition is December 7th. All Speech participants must attend and present their speech to be considered for the category. All first-place winners will present their speech at the Scholarship Breakfast in January.

Honor Truth. Prioritize Justice. Practice Nonviolence365” through their Art, Essay’s and Speeches as they take time to explore the experience and legacy of Dr. King in their modern world and time.
