Kinard Elementary PTO

25 Kinard staff members. 25 little ghosts. 👻 How well does our staff really know each other? 👀 Let the guessing begin!

Kenny saw everyone else doing this trend and decided it was his turn! 👻📸

Thankfully, his BFF was willing to play photographer. 😂

He’s also hoping this little photoshoot earns him some extra candy. 🍬

Friendly reminder that we have a PTO meeting tomorrow at 3:30 - in person or virtually!

We’ll be discussing Fall Festival and all the exciting things we have planned for Q2! Whether you’re a regular or thinking about joining us for the first time, we’d love to see you there!

💙💚 It’s time for our October Volunteer Spotlight, and this month we’re introducing Rachel Gaskey!

For Rachel, joining PTO has been a long time coming! She’s wanted to be involved in a PTO since she was an elementary school student herself. Now, with her son Rexton in Pre-K at Kinard, she’s finally getting the chance!

Rachel has loved getting to experience the fun side of PTO, with our Color Run being her favorite event so far. But what really stands out to her is the family atmosphere at Kinard and the kindness of the people she’s met along the way.

And here’s something you might not know about Rachel — she attended culinary school! 👩‍🍳

Rachel’s advice to anyone who’s been thinking about volunteering? “Do it! You will not regret it one bit!”

We love seeing new faces get involved with PTO, and Rachel is a great reminder that you don’t have to be a longtime member to make a difference. Thank you, Rachel, for choosing to spend some of your time making Kinard an even better place for our students and families! 💙💚

Kenny was so excited to have his grown-up friends back at school today… until one of them reminded him that Picture Day is Wednesday! 📸

Thankfully, he was able to squeeze in a last minute appointment to make sure he’s looking his best and ready to SAY CHEESE! 😁🍬

And don’t forget to keep sending in that candy! We want to make sure Kenny is nice and full by October 30th! 🍭

It’s Wednesday, and it’s quiet uptown… or downtown, in Kenny’s case. 🎶

Apparently someone isn’t handling Fall Break quite as well as the rest of us. The empty halls are getting to him, but in true Kenny fashion, he’s being completely normal and not dramatic about it at all. 😂🍬

We hope all of our Kinard families are having a great break! Show us what you’ve been up to this week — drop a picture in the comments!

It’s National Coaches Day, and Coach Wright gets TWO very enthusiastic thumbs up from the PTO! 👍👍😂

Whether he’s being covered in slime, turned into a human sundae, or participating in whatever other ridiculous incentive we dream up next, Coach Wright is ALWAYS a good sport.

But more importantly, he encourages our students every day to be the best versions of themselves—physically, mentally, and as teammates. He goes far beyond what’s expected and is always willing to show up for our students, our staff, and our school.

We’re so lucky to have him at Kinard. Happy National Coaches Day, Coach Wright! 💙💚

And Coach… thanks for continuing to trust the PTO. We’re not sure why you do. 😂

Well… it’s official. Kenny has let the fame go straight to his head. 😎🍬

Our favorite candy loving monster is making another appearance on PTO Today, and we’re not sure his ego will ever recover. 😂

Head over to their page and show our Kinard celebrity some love! 💚💙🍬
