We are making steady progress for our “Put a Little Love In Your Heart” fundraising campaign.

We are inviting supporters to help fill hearts with $25 donations so we can provide practical support and resource referrals to neighbors in need right here in our community.

❤️ Our first goal is to fill 50 hearts by the end of February.
As a thank-you, once 50 hearts are filled, we will hold a Supporter Appreciation Drawing and select one donor at random to receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

If we continue filling hearts beyond the first 50, we’ll expand the giveaway — and reaching 100 hearts will unlock two $100 gift card winners!

🌟 THANK YOU for an amazing first-year Light of the World! 🌟

I want to personally thank all of our volunteers, vendors, photographer, food trucks, and attendees for helping make this a wonderful event.

As a new nonprofit, we are learning as we go. This year gave us valuable lessons and experience that will help make future events—and next year—even bigger and better!

❤️ Why Seeds of Charity exists…

I founded Seeds of Charity after seeing how many people fall through the cracks of traditional aid systems. Sometimes, people simply need timely help — and no one knows where to turn.

As a Christian, charity is central to my beliefs. A small seed can produce a mighty harvest. That’s how Seeds of Charity began.

Our mission is simple:

✔ Help those truly in need
✔ Refer people to existing resources when available
✔ Step in when no other help exists
✔ Be faithful stewards of every penny

We have standards and protocols in place to ensure that assistance is used exactly as intended.

Karter’s Candies Sweets and Snacks will be pulling into Light of the World this Friday, December 5th for our Christmas community event! ❄️

We are excited to try some of their delicious offerings-loaded potato skins, nachos, pretzels, flatbread, lemonade, apple cider, and MORE! 🥨🍕🥔

Come out and try some of their delicious grub, and support our community event (oh, and Santa will be there)! 🎅

They serve up LARGE, 1-pound servings of cobbler, with ice cream and toppings! You pick your base and add your fixin' to your liking!

They debuted their newest flavor this week - Chocolate Covered Cherry Cobbler! 😲
