The Teacher Supply Depot opened the school year with 2 record opening events for Clinton City Schools on 7/28, and for Anderson County Schools on 7/29!! A total of over $17,000 of supplies and materials went out the door to classrooms across our community.

There are additional Depot openings on August 18th and in mid-September. We can always use supplies or funds to purchase supplies. Contact Scott Bacon at [email protected] if your organization wants to help.

A huge shoutout of thanks to our friends at Climashield in Anderson County for their generous donation of school supplies, Kleenex, paper towels and hand sanitizer to the Teacher Supply Depot! Those items are already on the shelves in preparation for teachers from Clinton City and Anderson County Schools coming through the Depot next week.

We have a certificate for a foursome to play Tennessee Centennial Golf Course that was left over from our recent Joe Forgety Memorial Golf Classic. It includes greens fees and carts for up to four golfers and expires on December 31, 2026.

Asking price is $250 with the proceeds going to the Education Foundation for Clinton City & Anderson County Schools. The first person to meet the asking price will receive the certificate that must be taken to the course to redeem for the round of golf. The winner will receive a letter from the Education Foundation verifying the exchange of certificate for the donation to the Foundation.

The person purchasing the certificate will have until December 31, 2026 to redeem it.

Our friends at Second Baptist Church in Clinton made their annual visit to the Teacher Supply Depot earlier this week to deliver their donation of copy paper! This load of paper will allow our teachers to grab a pack of paper prior to the beginning of the school year as they prepare to serve students. Thanks to Kerry Hatmaker and the Second Baptist Church team for bringing over the donated paper!

The Teacher Supply Depot is a collaboration between the Education Foundation, Clinton City Schools, and Anderson County Schools. It's time to begin stocking the shelves at the Teacher Supply Depot! This free store for Clinton City & Anderson County Schools educators is open multiple times each school year for our teachers to pick up free supplies and materials to help them serve our students.

Thanks to a HUGE donation of 3M products from our local Clinton 3M facility, we are off and running in our preparations for the new school year. These photos show a small portion of the 3M Post-It notes going on the shelves, as well as two carts filled with 200+ 3M Post-It brand easel pads that are essentially large Post-It pads where teachers can tear a sheet off and stick the paper on a board or wall to display the topic to the entire class. These easel pads retail for $30 each! In addition, there is a large quantity of 3M packing tape that we haven't started to stock the shelves with yet. Special thanks to Jason Orr and the Clinton 3M faculty for this investment in teachers and students through the Teacher Supply Depot!!

The Education Foundations funds amazing things to our teachers!

SCES parents and students had fun playing "Drums Alive" at a parental involvement activity. Many thanks to the Education Foundation for funding the equipment purchase!
