Bonny is an adorable, playful 6-month-old little girl weighing around 6 lbs! She’s mostly potty trained, loves treats, and is very food motivated. ❤️

She would do best in an active home with another playful dog. She’s still working on leash training and gaining confidence with being held. She can be a big chewer and gets upset when left alone or crated.

We may be a small rescue on Whidbey Island, but our animals have found their forever homes all over Washington across the country, and even into Canada! 🥹❤️

When it comes to adoption, we aren’t just looking for the closest home we’re looking for the right home. 🏡🐶🐱

From counties all across Washington to Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Canada… our Critters & Co family keeps growing. 🐾

We’re looking for a kind volunteer who has a pressure washer and might be willing to donate a little time to help us out! 💙

We have 9 critter cages that need a good pressure washing. We have the hose and water — we just need someone with a pressure washer who would be willing to come lend a hand. 🧼💦

It would make a HUGE difference in keeping our critters’ spaces clean, healthy, and looking their best!

😂 CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. OPEN FOR RESCUE CHAOS.

The retail store may be closed today, but rescue never takes a day off. 🐾

Someone is mopping floors. 🧹
Someone is cleaning the dog wash. 🛁
Someone is feeding every animal. 🍽️
Someone is transporting dogs. 🚐
Someone is delivering FREE dog food to a family in need. ❤️🐶
Someone is searching for a forever home. 🏡
Someone is answering emails. 📧
Someone is replying to Facebook messages. 📱
And someone is definitely asking, “Who made this mess?” 😂

The doors may be locked, but the bowls still need filling, the floors still need cleaning, the phones still need answering, and the animals still need us.

Rescue doesn’t punch a time clock—it just keeps going. ❤️🐾

🐶 Expert puppy-dog eyes
🐶 Professional fence climbers
🐶 Masters of stealing attention
🐶 Absolutely ZERO respect for personal space 😂
🐶 And yes… they’re already working on convincing everyone who walks by that they need a puppy.

That’s how many animals are currently in the care of Critters Pet Rescue. ❤️

222 mouths to feed.
222 lives depending on us.
222 animals needing food, medical care, supplies, foster homes, love—and eventually, forever homes.

And with that many animals depending on us, we also ask for a little patience and grace. ❤️

If we don’t answer the phone right away, return a message immediately, or respond to Facebook as quickly as you’d like, please know we aren’t ignoring you. We may be feeding animals, cleaning enclosures, giving medications, handling an emergency, helping a customer, coordinating a foster, transporting an animal, or working with a veterinarian.

There is always something happening behind the scenes that you may not see.

We will get back to you. Sometimes it just takes us a little longer because 222 lives are counting on us every single day.

Every adoption, foster home, donation, bag of food, shared post and kind word helps.
