Clinton MO Rotary Club Meetings held Thursday's from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Clinton Rotary Building 200 West Franklin Street, Clinton, MO. NW Corner of Downtown Square. Mr. James A.

The Clinton MO Rotary Club was established on June 11, 1918 with 23 men as the first members. Parks was the Club's first President. In 1949 the Rotary Youth Building was built on West Jefferson. On July 1, 1999 the Clinton Rotary Club moved into its current location, named the Clinton Finks Rotary Building. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.

Ann McCoy PhD, Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Dean of Graduate Studies at UCM was guest speaker at the Clinton Rotary Club. UCM partners with schools surrounding the University to provide tuition programs for area employees, tutoring programs, etc. In addition, they partner with community colleges with dual courses and nursing programs. Ann taught mathematics in the Clinton School District for 22 years before holding various positions with UCM. She is shown with Rotarian Jenny Corson and President Wes Hilton.

Becky Gregory, Executive Director of Share & Care, Sandy Carroll and Cassie Ogden gave a presentation on their facility which was established 37 years ago. They provide specialized support and programs for special people in Henry and Johnson Counties. They are building a new facility that will provide offices for the employees and a separate facility for training of the employees and for clients. The training for clients addresses learning to cook, do laundry, life skills for every day life. They are shown with Scott Bernard, VP of Rotary.

Clinton Rotary Club Members once again gathered at Englewood Cemetery in Clinton to help place flags on veterans graves for Memorial Day. The sections of the Cemetery we cover includes many familiar names and even members families. Each year the club ends its placement of flags at the grave of pur first Club president, Mr. James A. Parks, 1918.

The Clinton Rotary Club is accepting bids for Weekly Food Service for the Clinton Rotary Club (200 W. Franklin St, Clinton, MO). Those individuals or businesses wishing to place a bid may submit them in writing to: Clinton Rotary Club, Attn:
Elaine Paxton, P.O. Box 204, Clinton, MO 64735 or can be emailed to [email protected]
The Clinton Rotary Club Meets on Thursdays at noon unless otherwise directed by the President.
The Rotary Club provides table coverings, napkins, plates, glassware and silverware.
o Specifications:
 Lunch Guarantee 40 Meals per week
1. Salad Bar each week
• To include variety of fresh vegetables (i.e.: carrots, cucumbers, peas, cheese, broccoli, cauliflower and etc.)
2. Meal will include
a. Meat-Vegetables-Bread (rolls) Drink & Dessert
b. Drinks: Tea & Water
c. Meals are to be well-balanced and attractive meals.
3. Meals will be served buffet style.
4. Clean up is the responsibility of the caterer.
Special Events: Christmas Dinner, Installation Banquet, Fall Fundraiser (Chili/Soup), Spring Fundraiser and any other special events are not included and are subject to the committee in charge of the event to arrange for food preparation.
The Rotary Club kitchen can be used for food preparation. As the Rotary Building is rented out to other groups for events, no left-over foods will be left in the refrigerators.
The Catering Contract shall be for a period of 2 years, subject to the Board of Directors. The service shall be re-bid every two years. The Board of Directors reserves the right to cancel this agreement within 90 days of its acceptance or if the Caterer chooses to end the agreement with the first 90 days.
• Bids to be submitted in writing by May 22, 2026
o Bids to include 3 sample menus of weekly lunch.
o Bids to include price per meal (all charges included)
o Final applicants will be given an interview; final applicants will be given a date for June 2026 when they will provide a Rotary Lunch as part of the selection process.
o Rotary Club Members will make final selection following final luncheon
o Effective date to begin service will be July 1, 2026 (due to holiday the regular meeting is moved back one day to Wednesday).
All bids are subject to the approval or rejection by the Board of Directors.

Barry Bullock, Juvenile Officer for the 27th Juvenile Circuit, which includes Henry, Bates, St. Clair and Benton Counties, was the guest speaker at Rotary. They have had 311 cases this past year, with 66 of those cases being taken to court.
