Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation Together, we ensure the Golden Standard of Care for everyone. The Foundation also offers health-related matching grants to schools and community groups.

When you give to the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation, you provide hope, healing and opportunities for yourself, your family, your friends and your community. Gifts made to our Foundation are used to improve patient comfort and care, help patients with equipment and supplies not covered by insurance or other means, and to purchase equipment to support diagnoses and recovery. We extend our sincere gratitude to Sandra Braithwait and Gregg Smith who have recently concluded their service on the GVMH Foundation Board.

Throughout their time on the board, both of them have given generously of their time, insight and leadership. Their commitment has helped strengthen the Foundation’s mission and has supported meaningful work that benefits our patients, our staff and the communities we serve.

In March, the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation welcomed donors for a special evening focused on celebrating the impact of philanthropy at GVMH.

Those who attended enjoyed an up close look at advanced technology, including demonstrations of the new da Vinci® 5 (DV5) robotic surgical system and the THINK Surgical, Inc., TMINI® Miniature Robotic System — innovations that enhance precision, safety and access to high quality care closer to home.

Guests also toured the new Mobile Mammography RV, which is expanding access to lifesaving breast cancer screenings across the region, and viewed the new donor wall, created to honor the individuals, families and organizations whose generosity continues to strengthen healthcare in our communities.

The evening was a meaningful opportunity to share how donor support directly advances patient care, access and innovation at GVMH. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, helped plan the event and continues to support the Foundation’s mission.
