The Henry County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating 15-year-old ******* of Windsor.

***** left his residence at approximately 11:00 a.m. today in the **** and has not returned.

If you have information regarding his whereabouts or have seen him, please contact Central Dispatch immediately at 660-885-5587.

A huge thank you to SKIP to Serve for stepping up and putting in the worK, unboxing coats, hanging them up, and organizing all the socks for our Angel Tree program.

This wasn’t a small task, but it was done with heart and purpose. Because of efforts like this, families in need will have warm coats and essentials ready for them this coming fall.

This is what real community looks like. People helping people, no recognition needed, just a willingness to serve.

I’m proud to stand with those who make a difference every single day.

We are excited to announce the one who keeps this program going is running as an independent for Amanda J. Johnson for Henry County Presiding Commissioner make sure to like and share her campaign page to stay up to date.

Amanda Johnson gave a recap of the Angel Tree program this Christmas season. Since 2019, they have made Christmas possible for over 2,500 kids. This year alone they served 549 kids. Clinton Rotary Club gave a generous donation as not all kids get adopted. Amanda and her team make sure they all get their wish list filled by shopping with donated funds. Amanda is shown with Rotarian Krystal Smith and President Wes Hilton.

We want to offer our sincerest apologies to any families whose applications were lost due to email and delivery issues when schools/social service entities/parents were returning forms to us as scans or pictures. Some of these that were emailed to us did not actually show in our email, thus were not received. We know how important these programs are, and we are heartbroken that some forms didn't make it to us.

At this time we are discussing returning to an online-only application process to remove the risk of lost emails and to ensure every family receives a digital receipt. Thank you for your understanding!

Update: To clarify that this is not the fault of anyone other than email deliverability, some of them just did not come through.

’Twas the night before pickup, not a mouse was scurrying;
All angels were adopted—every list complete.
Great ol’ Saint Nick couldn’t have done it without our incredible donors, community, and volunteers. Together, we made Christmas happen for 575 kids. And with that, I say good night—and Merry Christmas to all.
