As we wrap up another 4-H year, we’re launching the 2026 Missouri 4-H Volunteer Satisfaction Survey. This annual survey gives you a chance to share your experiences, tell us what’s working well and help us identify where we can improve.

The brief survey asks about:
• Your experiences working with 4-H professionals
• Communication and support
• State and program policies

If you’re a Missouri 4-H volunteer, please take a few minutes to share your feedback by October 15.

The county wide International Foods project recently had its October meeting. The 4-Hers used recipes from Mexico. They made homemade guacamole and corn tortillas. They learned how to cut and mash avocados and that adding lemon juice to the guacamole would keep it from turning brown. They put chicken, cheese, salsa and sour cream on their corn tortillas to make tacos.

Missouri 4-H is offering two exciting camps at Busch Gardens, Tampa:
Junior Zoo Apprentice Camp for ages 11–13
Zoo Apprentice Camp for ages 14+
Both camps run December 27–3, and include hands-on animal care, vet science, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Sea World Rescue.
