It was an honor to celebrate our Cub Scouts achieving their promotional ranks!

Through many adventures, our Cub Scouts in all ranks demonstrated leadership skills, character building, understanding civic duty to our community, physical fitness, respect for the outdoors, personal safety, and reverence. They also participated in fun adventures such as camping, swimming, fishing, woodcraft, whittling, and environmental conservation to name a few.

We are proud of what our scouts accomplished!

Our Cub Scouts had a great time at our 3rd annual Mother’s Day camping weekend! The rain early on didn’t stop us from having fun playing games in the pavilion, hiking Veterans Memorial Park, setting up our tents for camping, and fire building.

We enjoyed foil packet dinners and campfire cones from our campfire. We ended with campfire songs, stories, and jokes. Our Cub Scouts had a great time!

Our Cub Scouts attended the Town of Clifton Park Arbor Day celebration last Saturday! We congratulated the Trees of Distinction Award recipients, learned about Clifton Park’s veterans who fought in the Revolutionary War, and helped plant a white oak sapling in their honor. We like to give special thanks to Diana Leis Delker for inviting us to join in this celebration!

Last weekend, our Cub Scouts had a great time cabin camping at Rotary Scout Reservation!

We hiked the campgrounds, identified plants and wildlife, observed salamanders at the waterfront, made whistles out of acorn tops, played games both outside and in the cabin, and cleaned up the dishes after every meal. 2/2

Last weekend, our Cub Scouts had a great time cabin camping at Rotary Scout Reservation!

We hiked the campgrounds, identified plants and wildlife, observed salamanders at the waterfront, made whistles out of acorn tops, played games both outside and in the cabin, and cleaned up the dishes after every meal. 1/2

Last week, our pack held our Bottle Rocket Launch! Our Cub Scouts made rockets out of 2 liter soda bottles. They decorated, designed, and launched them using water and air pressure! A great time was had by both Cub Scouts and adults alike! 2/2
