Movement. Culture. Community. โœจ

Our residency at Cleveland School of the Arts continues to remind us whatโ€™s possible when young people are given space to create, connect, and be fully themselves.

Through dance, storytelling, and cultural expression, students are building confidence, artistry, leadership, and community together. Every rehearsal is filled with joy, curiosity, growth, and powerful imagination for the future.

Thank you to the students, educators, families, and community members who continue to pour into this work with us. We are honored to share space, movement, and vision alongside the next generation of artists and cultural leaders. ๐Ÿ’›

One of the most powerful things young artists can experience is seeing someone who once stood where they stand now thriving as a professional artist and leaders.

That is part of what makes our residency at Cleveland School of the Arts so meaningful.

Many of the dancers and teaching artists with Mojuba! are CSA alumni themselves.

They trained in these spaces.

Developed their artistic voices here.

And now return to mentor and guide the next generation.

For us, this is not accidental. It is intentional pipeline building.

We believe arts education should create sustainable pathways for young people to grow not only as performers โ€” but as leaders, educators, creators, and changemakers.

Our upcoming Summer Dance and Youth Dance and Cultural Leadership Institute continues that commitment.

One of the most meaningful parts of this season has been deepening our residency with Cleveland School of the Arts.

Here.. Mojuba! is marking a selection with Cleveland School of the Arts students.

Many of the artists teaching, mentoring, and performing with Mojuba! today are CSA alumni themselves.

What began as students discovering their artistic voice has evolved into a full-circle pipeline of leadership, mentorship, cultural practice, and professional artistry.

That matters deeply to us.

Because we believe young people deserve to see futures that feel possible.

They deserve to learn from artists who understand their journeys firsthand.

And they deserve spaces where culture, discipline, artistry, and community exist together.

This is the kind of ecosystem Mojuba! is committed to building.

And this summer, we are continuing that work through our intensives, youth programming, and cultural leadership opportunities.
