Martha and Jax got some extra love from Cooper yesterday! This amazing young man turned 7 this year, and asked for donations for the Tails kitties in lieu of gifts for himself. Thank you to everyone that donated items and cash as we gear up for kitten season. And a very special thank you to Cooper’s family for raising such a fantastic boy. The kitties enjoyed the extra love they received!!

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY! ❤️

Huge shout out to the family that adopted a kitten now named Lucy (formerly Barbara) last fall.

Fast forward to now when Lucy’s sibling sister is selling Girl Scout cookies, and she wanted to do something special for the wonderful volunteers that take care of the Tails kitties, so the family donated several boxes of cookies to us!!

Lucy’ family loves her, the Tails volunteers are happy and feel the love, too!! 🥰

Happy Reunion!

We start our year by letting you know that microchips work! We often wish that kitties could talk so they could tell us their story. We don’t know what Kayo has been doing the past couple of years, but she finally got back to her adopter - who drove all the way from North Carolina to pick her up!!

Since 2023, all of our animals are microchipped and registered before they go to their forever homes! We adopt to people that will only keep their kitties inside, but every now and then, a kitty gets out. If your animal is not microchipped, we highly recommend that you get this done.
