Pre-K teachers deserve a hero squad, and last Friday, they had one. 🙌

Huge thanks to PNC for sponsoring a Pre-K Teacher Shop and sending volunteers to check teachers in, count supplies, and restock the shelves as this special group of educators shopped for their classrooms. PNC's Grow Up Great initiative is all about setting kids up for success from birth, and this shop put that mission into action.

🎥Danita interviewed Kelli McCorvey, a fifth-grade teacher, and Ericka Walker, the new Principal at the Whitney M. Young Leadership Academy, about the need they see and how we help students and teachers. Shavonne Price and Carolyn Sekerak also shared about SC4K's programs and how you can help!

We’re rounding out our week with another set of shops - this time for our Legacy Partners! Partners filled carts with new shoes, school uniforms, school-appropriate casual clothes, and school supplies to be put to good use in the neighborhoods they serve! A team of volunteers from Medical Mutual were there to assist with checkout and restocking.

We are so grateful for all of our partnerships and for the generous community support that makes back to school shopping for partners possible!

This past Friday, our 3rd Annual Back to School Bash was one to remember! 🎉

From haircuts and face painting to bounce houses, popcorn, cotton candy, pizza, and ice cream, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and fun for the whole family. We loved seeing everyone show off their moves during the line dances, cheering on the Collinwood Cobras Cheerleaders, connecting with local community partners, and enjoying a day that brought families together before the start of the new school year. 📣✨

Families also had access to free health services and valuable community resources, helping students head back to school feeling confident, prepared, and supported. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's Back to School Bash such a success. We can't wait to see all of our students have an amazing school year! 🎒📚✏️

What an incredible Stuff the Bus! 🚌💙

In partnership with FOX 8, our community came together for our 20th Annual Stuff the Bus to help local students start the school year prepared for success. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we collected 10 buses full of new school supplies and monetary donations equivalent to another 10 busloads to help stock SC4K's free store for local students, families, and teachers.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners for making this milestone event a tremendous success. Your support helps remove barriers to school attendance and ensures children across Greater Cleveland have the tools they need to thrive in the classroom.
